On Sunday, 22nd of September, Bishop Frank responded to the invitation from our youth ministry team to join us for our Youth Led Mass. It was a wonderful celebration of youth faith in action.
From the procession with the gifts, to the readings, to the liturgy and everything in between - all the young people raised themselves to the challenge and delivered. On behalf of the youth team, we are proud of you all!
Bishop Frank thoroughly enjoyed Mass, even encountering Scotland's youngest bishops as our children's liturgy group shared what they had been learning today - and showed off some pretty impressive mitres!
On behalf of the team, the youth, and the whole parish community - thank you Bishop Frank for joining us today. We look forward to your next visit with us.
Christina, our newest member of the youth team, shares a reflection with us below.
What a joyful experience and to quote someone from church, 'It is great when a plan comes together'. It was wonderful to be a part of the team and to see all the young people do their parts. Highlight of the whole experience was seeing all the beeming little children walk up to the Bishop with all their paper mitres. He even let one of them try on his! The parish loved it and it just added to the whole service. Can't wait to grow in fellowship with community and see the future unfold as more young people get involved.

As we shared our joyous occasion of our youth Mass, we also shared the day with Mary and Frank Brown who are celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary! We wish you many more years together and keep you both in our prayers.
