Our Team:

Fr. Uchenna is a man who needs no introduction. Since joining us as parish priest, he has worked tirelessly to empower the parish community to undertake the good work that we are involved in, as well as encouraging us to take on new roles. We are very grateful to him for all that he does. He oversees the running of the parish pages, however, with his busy role as parish priest, he doesn't have the time spare to post often, or to read all of your lovely comments or messages.

That's where we come in.

Louise is a secondary school music teacher in Dumfries and Galloway. She has given herself to both our church community and her church community at St. Quivox - tirelessly working behind the scenes to provide opportunities for young people in our parish. At St. Quivox, Louise was an altar server, was the sacristan and also led the music ministry. She joined our community here at St. Teresa's 3 years ago. Now, she assists with passkeeping, youth ministry and occasionaly the church organ. She works hard to help run the St. Quivox and RC Garnock Valley pages and we are lucky to share in her knowledge with running our pages too. Louise shares daily Gospel readings and feast days to ensure everyone can access daily liturgy.

Sean is a trained primary teacher in Dumfries and Galloway, but is currently working as a Mathematics Teacher in the Secondary sector. He first joined St. Teresa's when he was attending St. Joseph's College and he fell in love with being a Catholic. He received the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation at St. Teresa's and has been part of the parish community ever since. Previously he was an altar server, before moving on to the occasional reading. Now he is involved with helping the RCIC program here at St. Teresa's; passkeeping; helping create opportunities for the young people; Eucharistic Ministry and the Parish Pastoral Council. Sean creates the weekly TV broadcast from the bulletin information and posts lots about the exciting things that happen in our parish. He is also responsible for the development of our website.

Please do message us with any pictures from events within our parish communities. We would love to share them so others can share in the joy, celebrations, and life of St. Teresa's; Holy Trinity; and St. Luke's.
