Parish Community Social Media Team

Meet our team!

As many of you have noticed, our facebook pages for our parish communities have a new team behind them and have become active once more.

Who we are...

Firstly, a huge thank you to Fr. Kevin Rennie for looking after our pages as we entered our transition between parish priests - and for supporting the new team in taking on the pages.

Let us introduce ourselves:

Fr. Uchenna is a man who needs no introduction. Since joining us as parish priest, he has worked tirelessly to empower the parish community to undertake the good work that we are involved in, as well as encouraging us to take on new roles. We are very grateful to him for all that he does. He oversees the running of the parish pages, however, with his busy role as parish priest, he doesn't have the time spare to post often, or to read all of your lovely comments or messages.

That's where we come in.

Louise is a secondary school music teacher in Dumfries and Galloway. She has given herself to both our church community and her church community at St. Quivox - tirelessly working behind the scenes to provide opportunities for young people in our parish. At St. Quivox, Louise was an altar server, was the sacristan and also led the music ministry. She joined our community here at St. Teresa's 3 years ago. She works hard to help run the St. Quivox page and we are lucky to share in her knowledge with rejuvenating our pages.

And myself, Sean. I am a primary teacher in Dumfries and Galloway. I first joined St. Teresa's when I was attending St. Joseph's College and fell in love with being a Catholic. I received the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation at St. Teresa's and have been part of the parish community ever since. I joined the altar servers, before moving on to the occasional reading. Now I am involved with helping the RCIC program here at St. Teresa's; passkeeping; helping create opportunities for the young people; and more recently as a Eucharistic Minister.

The team is excited to undertake this new venture, sharing the life of our parish community and the good work that you all do!

Please do message us with any pictures from events within our parish communities. We would love to share them so others can share in the joy, celebrations, and life of St. Teresa's; Holy Trinity; and St. Luke's.
