The RCIC children have worked hard over the past 9 months in preparation to undertake their sacraments and take the next step in their Christian faith.
They have worked alongside Fr. Uchenna, Fr. Dennis, Miss Cullen, and Mr McCrone through the Tuesday club program to learn about our faith and the importance of their next step in their journey. They have also worked hard at home with families and sponsors to prepare and attended Holy Mass to deepen their faith. The children have received the sacrament of first confession, their Rite of Presentation, led our Marian procession, their Rite of Confirmation, and their Rite of Enrolement.
We were honoured to celebrate this special day with all the children as they received the Most Holy Eucharist.

in the Sacrament of the Eucharist You left us the outstanding manifestation of your limitless love for us.
Thank You for giving our children the opportunity to experience this love in receiving the Sacrament for the first time.
May your Eucharist presence keep them ever free from sin, fortified in faith,
pervaded by love for God and neighbour,
and fruitful in virtue,
that they may continue to receive You throughout life and attain final union with You at death.
